UNGER Kabelkonfektion manufactures its products in the Erzgebirge region, in what was once one of Europe's most important mining regions. Ever since the days of mining engineer von Carlowitz, we have been aware that resources are finite. With this in mind, we do not see sustainability as an obligation. It is part of our strategy for the future. Only those who think long-term can secure their livelihoods and differentiate themselves positively. In the context of the market environment, this is already being rewarded by our customers today.
Foresight is the premise
It is important to combine economic performance with ecological necessity. Our latest project, the first 264 kWp solar power system with 652 modules, shows what is possible. This system not only significantly reduces the CO2 footprint, it also demonstrates how environmentally friendly technologies can be integrated in a way that promotes competitiveness. After all, as a medium-sized company, we see it as our responsibility to act in the interests of both current and future generations.
